• As you settle comfortably onto the vibroacoustic soundbed, it will transmit a low-frequency, 40Hz vibration in a Sine Wave. This is not like other services where the table plays tactile music or the vibrations vary. In this session, we maintain a steady 40Hz vibration on the soundbed.

As your body succumbs to these vibrations, the calming sounds of healing instruments such as the gong, singing bowls, chimes, and crystal harp will soothe your mind, guiding you into a profound state of relaxation where healing can occur.

Unless you choose otherwise, the session also incorporates a PEMF mat. This mat is configured to induce Gamma entrainment at 40Hz, harmonizing with the vibrations of the table.

  • The Vibroacoustic sound beds offered by Ambient Sound Healing are designed to turn music into a tactile vibration that you can physically feel, enabling you to feel the musical notes in meditation music as a strong vibration. The sound and all vibration produced emanate from the bed itself, so headphones are not used.

The four beds are fully synchronized together, so everyone has the same collective experience, and nothing is ever out of sync. This makes it a unique and special experience to share with loved ones.

Vibroacoustic therapy positively affects every level of human health. Using this technology and synchronized sound waves with healing frequencies, vibrations are applied directly to the body, positively affecting at the cellular and molecular level. This creates an experience of total body relaxation.

During a session, you will immediately be able to feel the physical tactile vibrational frequencies through the bed as well as hear the same healing frequencies/music. The music or frequency played/felt throughout the bed is greatly complimented by the live playing of singing bowls, and other healing instruments.

The deep relaxation response begins between 10 minutes, and clients report feeling many pleasant sensations, emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Abstract thinking slows, and body and mind awareness expands. You can expect to experience warm, gentle vibrations throughout your body as the vibrations from the bed pan up and down the body. You may fall asleep and begin to experience clarity and relief of pain or symptoms, inducing a deep relaxation response.

During this session, the bed will vibrate consistently at 40HZ, and will not play music, however, this will give you a beautiful opportunity to focus on the soundbath, undisturbed.

  • 40hz falls within the range of gamma brainwaves, associated with higher cognitive functions like information processing, attention, and memory. Studies suggest that external stimulation at 40hz might enhance these functions.

    As a physical, tactile vibration:

40hz is a common frequency used in Whole Body Vibration therapy, that sends soundwaves through your body.

    Effects:

Muscle activation: 40hz is considered to stimulate muscle activity more than lower frequencies. This could lead to benefits like improved muscle strength, power, and flexibility.

Bone health: Some research suggests that WBV, including 40hz, might stimulate bone formation and improve bone mineral density. This could be beneficial for preventing osteoporosis.

Circulation: Vibration might improve blood flow and lymphatic drainage, leading to potential benefits like reduced swelling and faster recovery after exercise.

Research has shown that noninvasive sensory stimulation of 40 Hz gamma frequency brain rhythms can reduce Alzheimer’s disease pathology and symptoms. This has been demonstrated with light and sound by multiple research groups in mice and humans, and now extends to tactile stimulation. A study by MIT scientists showed that Alzheimer’s model mice exposed to 40 Hz vibration for an hour a day for several weeks showed improved brain health and motor function compared to untreated controls1. The stimulation reduced levels of the hallmark Alzheimer’s protein phosphorylated tau, prevented neurons from dying or losing their synapse circuit connections, and reduced neural DNA damage

-Other potential benefits: Studies have explored using WBV for various conditions like pain relief, balance improvement, and reducing cellulite, but evidence is still limited and needs further investigation.

    PEMF at 40HZ

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy, or pulsed electromagnetic field at 40HZ, has been studied for its potential benefits in various areas:

-Alzheimer’s Disease: Early-stage clinical studies have found that 40Hz sensory stimulation, which includes PEMF, was well-tolerated, produced no serious adverse effects, and was associated with some significant neurological and behavioral benefits among a small cohort of participants. The stimulation appears to produce these effects by increasing the power and synchrony of the 40-hertz brain rhythm, which profoundly affects the activity of several types of brain cells, including the brain’s vasculature

-Vascular Health: Some studies are focusing on the potential benefits of PEMF on vascular health

-General Health: PEMF therapy is beneficial for a range of problems like fatigue, range of motion, and more serious illnesses like arthritis, depression, and more. This is also very good for prevention.

  • PEMF, which stands for pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, is a treatment that uses pulses of low-frequency electromagnetic fields to target various health conditions.

Proposed benefits: While research is ongoing, PEMF therapy is used to address various conditions like:

Chronic pain in muscles, bones, and joints

    Inflammation

    Bone healing after fractures

    Wound healing

    Depression

  • 60 Minute Session: $80

    90 Minute: $100

Three Pack: 3 one- hour long sessions: $200.00

Cost to add additional person: $25.00

  • While PEMF therapy is generally considered safe for many individuals, there are certain groups of people who should avoid it or consult a healthcare professional before trying it. Here are some key points:

People with implanted medical devices: PEMF therapy can potentially interfere with the functioning of pacemakers, defibrillators, and other implanted devices.

Pregnant women: Due to limited research on the effects of PEMF on pregnancy, it's generally recommended to avoid PEMF therapy as a precaution

People with epilepsy: PEMF therapy might potentially trigger seizures in individuals with epilepsy.

People with active bleeding or uncontrolled bleeding disorders: PEMF could potentially increase the risk of bleeding.

People with metal implants or piercings in the treatment area: These may heat up during PEMF therapy, causing discomfort or burns.

It's important to note that this is not an exhaustive list, and it's always recommended to consult your doctor before starting PEMF therapy, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or concerns.** Your healthcare professional can assess your individual situation and determine if PEMF is appropriate and safe for you.

  • Because of the vibrations, we are unable to accommodate clients for this service if they:

    -Are pregnant

    -Have a seizure disorder

    -Have a pacemaker

    -Have unresolved blood clots

-Recent Surgeries: Individuals who have undergone recent surgeries, especially those involving internal organs.

-Acute Physical Injuries: Individuals with acute physical injuries, such as fractures, should avoid these treatments until they have sufficiently healed.
