Colored noises are various sound spectrums characterized by different frequency distributions and intensities. White noise has equal intensity across all frequencies, aiding in masking other sounds and promoting relaxation. Pink noise emphasizes lower frequencies, resembling natural sounds like rainfall, and is used for deep relaxation and improved sleep. Brown noise, with its strong low-frequency components, offers grounding and stress relief. Blue and violet noises, with increasing intensity at higher frequencies, stimulate the mind and clear mental fog. Gray noise, perceived as equally loud across all frequencies, provides balanced auditory reset, while green noise, centered on mid-range frequencies, mimics natural environments to promote harmony and rejuvenation. Orange noise, customized by removing certain frequencies, is used for targeted therapeutic applications.

These are traditionally not used in a sound bath setting but are utilized in other forms of sound therapy.

White Noise

Balanced intensity across all frequencies. Creates a blanket of sound, masking other noises

Uses: Calming the mind, aiding sleep, promoting focus

Pink Noise

Emphasizes lower frequencies with decreasing intensity as frequency increases. Mimics natural sounds of nature, sounds reminiscent of wind on the ocean.

Uses: Deep relaxation, enhancing meditation, improving sleep quality

Brown (Red) Noise

Stronger emphasis on very low frequencies. Deep, rumbling sound

Uses: Grounding, deep relaxation, relieving stress

Blue Noise

Intensifies with higher frequencies. Sharp, high-pitched sound

Uses: Stimulating the mind, boosting energy, clearing mental fog

Violet (Purple) Noise

Very high frequency. High-pitched hiss

Uses: Clearing energy blocks, enhancing focus, stimulating higher chakras, tinnitus.

Gray Noise

Perceived as equally loud across all frequencies. Harmonized for human hearing

Uses: Balanced sound therapy, comprehensive relaxation, auditory reset

Green Noise

Centers around mid-range frequencies that mimics natural environments, sounds almost like a rushing creek

Uses: Promoting a sense of natural harmony, relaxation, rejuvenation

Orange Noise

Custom-tailored by removing certain frequencies. Unlike white, pink, or brown noise, which have defined spectral distributions, orange noise is more customized and can be shaped to suit specific needs.

Uses: Tailored sound therapy, masking disruptive noises, specific therapeutic applications
