• Always use an o-ring to protect the bowls from vibrating against hard surfaces. Never set a crystal bowl down on the floor without one.

  • Handle singing bowls with care, avoiding dropping or banging them to prevent damage to the metal and crystal.

  • Pick bowls up with both hands when rearranging

  • Clean the singing bowls regularly using a soft cloth or brush to remove dust, dirt, and residue from oils or lotions.

  • Be mindful of the environment, an environment such as a salt cave, while certainly appealing, will rapidly corrode your instruments. Even the crystal bowls will likely get microfractures/chips in such an environment. This was a lesson I learned the hard way.

  • Use gentle, non-abrasive cleaning agents, such as mild soap and water.

  • Avoid stacking singing bowls on top of each other or touching each other to prevent scratches or damage to the surfaces.

  • Use appropriate mallets or strikers designed for singing bowls to produce the best sound quality and prevent damage to the bowl's rim.

  • Practice mindful handling and playing of singing bowls, treating them with love and respect as sacred instruments of healing and meditation.
