Always use an o-ring to protect the bowls from vibrating against hard surfaces. Never set a crystal bowl down on the floor without one.
Handle singing bowls with care, avoiding dropping or banging them to prevent damage to the metal and crystal.
Pick bowls up with both hands when rearranging
Clean the singing bowls regularly using a soft cloth or brush to remove dust, dirt, and residue from oils or lotions.
Be mindful of the environment, an environment such as a salt cave, while certainly appealing, will rapidly corrode your instruments. Even the crystal bowls will likely get microfractures/chips in such an environment. This was a lesson I learned the hard way.
Use gentle, non-abrasive cleaning agents, such as mild soap and water.
Avoid stacking singing bowls on top of each other or touching each other to prevent scratches or damage to the surfaces.
Use appropriate mallets or strikers designed for singing bowls to produce the best sound quality and prevent damage to the bowl's rim.
Practice mindful handling and playing of singing bowls, treating them with love and respect as sacred instruments of healing and meditation.
