Wake up for about 15-20 minutes and feed the dogs. Then, go back upstairs and walk around the bedroom, paying close attention to how the carpet feels on my feet and the weight of each step. Mindfulness during this stage is important as opposed to being overly focused on the astral projection attempts. During this time, I also lightly mentally rehearse my plan of action and call in my guides. Sometimes I put on a soundtrack, but it's not necessary for success. Often, I go into a different room in the house.
After walking around for about 15 minutes, sit in bed. Sometimes, use the Breath of Fire breathing technique to raise your vibration and increase the chances of success. I Mentally rehearse the plan of action again and say positive affirmations, working on opening my heart-space. I also use protection techniques later discussed.
When lying down, alternate between the following techniques, which have brought the most success:
- Roll out technique paired with Seeing my dresser
- Crawl on the bedroom floor while feeling and seeing the carpet
- Run down the stairs with seeing my Kitchen Stove
I cycle through this series of techniques four times before 'giving up' and going to sleep to catch the next awakening. Additionally, I incorporate straining the brain while doing other techniques. Instead of going back to sleep, I also count down from a chosen number, taking advantage of any lapses with an escapement technique.
