The Two-Finger Alpha Technique is a simple yet powerful method for entering a deep trance state. Participants begin by holding their index and middle fingers together. This physical gesture acts as a subconscious anchor, associating the sensation of touch with the desired mental state of deep relaxation. If this class is taken in person or online, we will explore various techniques for achieving a trance state, such as guided visualizations, progressive muscle relaxation, Sound, and deep breathing exercises. However, this can be easily done on your end, it just requires consistency. Each time we engage in these practices, participants will hold their two fingers together, reinforcing the connection between the physical gesture and the desired mental state. By consistently pairing the act of holding their two fingers together with the practice of trance induction, participants will create a powerful mental association. Over time, simply holding their two fingers together will trigger a rapid and effortless descent into the alpha state, allowing for deeper exploration and utilization of the subconscious mind. There will be a separate chapter on this later.

The Energy Conversion Box (Hemi-Sync technique) is a metaphorical tool used in guided meditations and visualizations. It's not a physical object but rather a symbolic representation of a safe space where individuals can mentally deposit their worries, fears, and limitations.

The visualization of a strong metal box with a heavy lid serves to reinforce the idea that these negative energies are being securely contained. The box doesn't just store these emotions but transforms them into something more positive or neutral. This transformation will occur at a pace that is comfortable and beneficial for the individual.

Inner Visualization and Energy Center Journeys:  Set your intention for the journey, whether it's to gain insights into a specific chakra or to explore them all. Then, remembering the two finger alpha technique, bring yourself to  enter into a relaxed state  of trance. Imagine yourself stepping beyond the veil, and  journeying to each chakra location within your or your clients body. Notice the colors, symbols, or landscapes that emerge. Are there any blockages or imbalances? If performing energy work, If performing energy work, interact with the energy you encounter, offering healing light or retrieving lost parts.  After journeying through each chakra, visualize yourself returning to your body.

Performing a shamanic journey for another person requires additional steps and ethical considerations. First, establish clear consent and intention with the recipient.

This will be discussed more in advanced classes about shamanism.

Journeying into the Other World to Meet with the Clientโ€™s Guides/or Clientโ€™s Higher-self directly:

Journeying into the Other World to connect with a client's guides or Higher Self offers a profound way to access deep wisdom and guidance. This practice involves stepping beyond the physical realm, through the veil, into a space you create specifically for this sacred communication. Perhaps a crystal palace bathed in soft, ethereal light, its walls shimmering with vibrant energy. Whatever it might be, this is your safe space, built with intention and protection. Here, psychic communication is amplified, allowing you to connect with the client's higher consciousness or their spirit guides. Within this space, questions can be asked and profound insights received, offering invaluable direction and healing for your client.

Animal Totems:

In psychic readings, animal imagery acts as a powerful language. The emotions the animal evokes are also key. A playful otter might signify reconnecting with your inner child, while a zebra might symbolize the need to embrace duality or uniqueness. To refine the interpretation further, consider the client's situation. A stag for someone facing a decision could represent strength, while a hummingbird for someone stuck could urge them to embrace change. The animal's behavior (aggressive, playful, serene) and its environment (natural habitat or unfamiliar) offer further clues, allowing you to unlock the hidden messages and provide valuable guidance. When interpreting these messages, consider all symbols together. For example, a polar bear holding a fish carries not only a message from the bear, but also a message from the fish.

Cartomancy (Card Reading) without a Deck:

This practice strengthens your intuition and allows you to access the wisdom of cartomancy without ever needing a physical deck. Divination through cards doesn't always require a physical deck. You can embark on an intuitive cartomancy journey by first centering yourself and shuffling an imaginary deck. Focus on your question or concern as you shuffle, imbuing the ethereal cards with your intent. Then, with your inner eye, draw a single card, feeling its weight and presence. Notice any suits, numbers, or symbols that appear. Draw on your knowledge of traditional card meanings, but also let intuition guide you. Consider the colors, imagery, and even the position of the card (upright or reversed) as you interpret its message.

Psychometry:

People with psychometric abilities are highly clairsentient, meaning they can pick up on subtle energies. By holding an object, they tap into a resonance, a record of emotions and experiences the object has absorbed over time. The information might come in flashes of images, like scenes from the object's past. A psychometrist holding a Civil War locket might sense the grief of a widow. They could also experience a surge of emotions tied to the object's history, such as an intense feeling of comfort associated with a child's teddy bear. The strongest emotions tied to the object come through most clearly. These strong emotions leave behind a resonance.

Scrying:

Scrying is an ancient divination technique that involves gazing into a reflective surface, such as a crystal ball, mirror, water, flames, the clouds, and more, to receive intuitive insights. In sigil scrying, you create a sigil related to your question or area of inquiry and focus on it while scrying. Elemental scrying associates the scrying surface with one of the five elements (earth, air, fire, water, ether) to enhance the visions you receive. For example, scrying with a bowl of water might provide insights related to emotions or the subconscious, gazing into a flame might reveal information about passion or creativity, the clouds with inspiration, and Earth, the material physical world.
